Hi friends,
They are as follows:
1.The age restriction has been shifted to 1st august instead of 1st july which was followed uptil last year's exam.
SO people whose dob was in month of august would be loosing out one of their attempts.
Why UPSC has done this is not known and i would request my blog readers to post if they have any info on that.
2.A marked difference is seen in the restriction on the subject combination in IFS 2012 notification which is available at http://www.upsc.gov.in/exams/notifications/2012/ifs/eng.pdf
Agriculture and forestry as optional subject combination can no longer be opted for as mentioned in the notification. For my readers info, this combination used to be one of the most popular combination among the IFS exam aspirants.
Will comeback to post some more relevant news when i have time.
all the best for all the aspirants for IFS2012 exam
